Designing Your Spreadsheet
When saving budgets using Excelerator, it is possible to specify either, or both, the reporting and base currencies. If user use just base or reporting, the other currencies figures will be calculated.
- To enter the base currency figures, use the Upload Budgets To Sage->Base Currency ranges.
- To enter the reporting currency figures, use the Upload Budgets To Sage->Reporting Currency ranges.
- Enter (or use a formula to generate) budget figures into the upload ranges, either year or period (but not both). If user wish to use Apportionment (Spread) Codes, then user must use a year total figure.
- User can enter the budget code user wish to save the budget to on the spreadsheet
Important: if any reporting currency ranges are used, then the upload program will not calculate any values from the base figures. Reporting currency values not specified will be 0. Similarly, if any base ranges are used, then the upload program will not calculate any base values. As such, user should specify all the upload ranges for reporting or the base currency, or none at all.
